Victor G. Carrillo is the Executive Director of Professional Responsibility & Government Affairs for International Leadership of Texas – a public charter school (motto: “Others Before Self”) serving approximately 21,000 Texas students.
Mr. Carrillo is a former energy sector Chief Executive Officer exploring for oil in Israel. Prior to that, he served as a statewide regulatory official over the Texas energy sector (oil, natural gas, pipelines). He is an attorney experienced in municipal, county and state government issues and is a former city councilman, county judge, university professor, and geologist.
Mr. Carrillo has a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Hardin-Simmons University; a Master of Science degree in Geology from Baylor University; a Juris Doctor in Law from the University of Houston Law Center; and a graduate certificate in Public Management from The Bush School of Government & Public Service at Texas A&M University.
Mr. Carrillo currently serves on the following advisory boards: Global Chamber Dallas; Maguire Energy Institute at Southern Methodist University; Energy Council, Jindal School of Management, University of Texas at Dallas; and Hispanic Leadership Initiative.
