John Caley graduated from the University of Arizona with a BSBA degree in accounting. His career began in public accounting, providing audit, mergers and acquisitions, and financial consulting services to clients in multiple industries. He then accumulated another 20 plus years of executive level audit and compliance risk management experience at five publicly traded companies and one private company, serving boards, audit committees, risk committees, and executive management.
Caley was appointed to the Germania Farm Mutual Board of Directors in 2015 and serves on several board committees. He obtained his Farm Mutual Director Certification from the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies and earned the NACD Governance Fellowship. Caley has an active Texas CPA license and is a current or past member of the AICPA, the TSCPA, and the Institute of Internal Auditors.
