Scott Phillips received his education at Richland College along with several courses with the American College and Life Underwriters Training Council. He is the previous owner of Phillips Insurance Agency. Prior to working in the insurance industry, he worked in the food service industry in sales and management for 15 years. He is a member of numerous civic organizations.
Phillips was elected to the Germania Farm Mutual Board of Directors in April of 2013, and serves on its subsidiary boards and committees. He obtained his Farm Mutual Director Certification from the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies.
