The Germania Credit Union is excited to welcome Wendy Frazier as its new president and CEO. Frazier stepped into the role when the position became available last month and has hit the ground running.

Frazier has been with GCU as the vice president of lending since July 2021. She has been featured in many GCU promotions as she has been actively working with our GCU members, Germania team members, agents, policyholders, and community members.

“I am excited about this new opportunity as the president and CEO,” said Frazier. “We have a friendly, knowledgeable team, who is focused on continuing to build relationships and serve our members, agents, and policyholders. Germania Credit Union’s mission statement is ‘Helping members achieve financial success by financing their dreams and helping them save for the future.’ We will continue our work as your credit union of choice.”

Prior to joining GCU, she served as a regional branch manager at the Associated Credit Union of Texas in Brenham and the branch manager at BBVA Compass in Brenham. Frazier graduated from Sam Houston State University with a major in criminal justice.

Wendy is married to Mark Frazier, and they have twin daughters who keep them busy with club volleyball. When she is not cheering at a volleyball tournament, she enjoys traveling with her family.

Frazier is active in the Brenham community, where she has served on the Chamber of Commerce and Boys and Girls Club of Washington County for several years. She was awarded the Frank Blizzard Director of the Year Award and the National Service to Youth Award for her volunteerism. She was active in the First Baptist Church School’s PALS program and Staff Appreciation Committee while her daughters were attending school.
