Germania Insurance has earned a coveted spot on Forbes’ list of America’s Best Home Insurance Companies for 2023.
Germania, the largest farm mutual insurance company in Texas, ranked No. 12 for its property insurance product, topping some of the biggest carriers in the industry. Germania’s customizable property and liability products cover a variety of dwelling needs, including unique exposures found in rural areas.
This is the second time Germania has been included on Forbes’ exclusive list. In 2021, Germania ranked No. 4 for its auto insurance product and No. 5 for its home insurance product in the state of Texas.

Forbes partnered with market-research firm Statista to survey roughly 15,000 U.S. customers to determine which insurers came away with the highest overall-satisfaction ratings based on financial advice, customer service, transparency, digital services, price, performance, and benefit. Participants were also asked to rate carriers based on overall recommendation and general satisfaction.
