AUSTIN, TX (Tuesday, December 10) – Circuit of The Americas (COTA) continues to expand on its vision to create a world-class experiential sports, hospitality, and entertainment district with fun at every turn. COTA is proud to announce a partnership with Texas-based Germania Insurance for the naming rights to the Germania Insurance Amphitheater located at COTA. The 14,000-seat amphitheater will highlight the brand throughout the year.
This seven-year partnership cranks up following the Formula 1 Emirates United States Grand Prix, where the Germania Insurance Super Stage hosted international superstars Imagine Dragons and P!NK in front of record crowds. Beginning in 2020, the Germania Insurance Amphitheater at COTA will be the perfect place for fans to get lost in the music of world-renowned icons like KISS (Oct.1, 2020), Maroon 5 (June 7, 2020), and Alanis Morissette (June 12, 2020). Located in the heart of the COTA Campus, the amphitheater will continue to play host to some of the biggest shows in the live music capital of the world.
“We are excited to help Germania Insurance move the needle in their business,” said COTA Chief Revenue Officer, Tim Prukop. “By putting their name on one of the largest outdoor amphitheaters in Texas, the Germania Insurance brand will interact with over 400,000 avid music fans each year as they enjoy some of the most popular acts on tour today.”
“We are excited to partner with the largest outdoor venue in Austin in bringing the best artists in the world to the Germania Insurance Amphitheater,” said Germania Chief Marketing Officer Min Choi. “COTA is such an iconic venue, so it makes sense that our two Texas brands work together. We are proud to contribute in retaining Austin’s status as the Live Music Capital of the World.”
