The Importance of Education in Our Communities

As a community, supporting and investing in education for our children is an investment in our future. Along with valuable knowledge and skills, education grants a new generation the opportunity to grow and ability to thrive so that one day, they can contribute to their communities in kind. 

That’s why we strive to support community education at Germania, and take pride in doing our part through various donations, scholarships, and volunteer initiatives. 

Endowed Scholarships

We’re proud to provide endowed scholarships to colleges and universities in various Texas communities, like Blinn College, Prairie View A&M, and the University of Texas.

Insurance Council of Texas Donations

Germania provides annual donations to the Insurance Council of Texas for college students pursuing a career in insurance.

Germania Scholarship Program

At Germania, we’ve grown into quite the community ourselves, so helping our community means helping our team members and their families, too! That’s why we support our team and their children with the Germania Scholarship Program. Founded in 1996, this program has provided over $140,000 in financial aid in the last 10 years alone.

Tuition Reimbursement

We believe that there’s always more to learn! To support our team members as they seek to grow their skills, gain new capabilities, and open new opportunities, Germania provides tuition reimbursement for those looking to pursue a degree. 

Volunteer

We encourage our team members to volunteer their time to support community education for children through organizations such as CARS (Children Are Really Special), which seeks to aid kids and improve child literacy in our local communities. Additionally, many of our team members volunteer for various local initiatives, such as annual school supply donation drives.
