Germania is committed to making a positive impact in our community through community engagement. We believe that supporting and giving back to our community is an essential part of our values and mission and key to helping our fellow Texans thrive. 

Real Community Engagement Starts With Us.

Community engagement is more than just a concept or mission statement - it takes action. As an organization built from small communities, we understand that we have a responsibility to take action when the need arises and are proud of the work we have done so far. 

Supporting Our First Responders

Give back to those who give everything to their communities. From supporting local fire departments through fund raisers and donations to providing support and relief to first responders through our Hometown Giving initiative, we take care of those charged with taking care of us. 

Volunteering in Our Communities 

At Germania, every team member understands the importance of community engagement. Our Team Member Volunteer Program gives us the ability to engage with the community in a more hands-on fashion by offering members paid time to volunteer at local organizations and community events. 

Germania provides more than 20,000 volunteer hours annually to team members. We're proud to support their efforts in making a positive impact in our community.

Donating to Important Causes

Some issues affecting our communities which require specialized skills and research and call us to help engage with our community in a different way -  like the fight against childhood cancer and breast cancer. 

To support those who spend their time fighting these battles, we work with, support, and donate to various organizations during Breast Cancer Awareness month, and we donate annually to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation to fund childhood cancer research.
