Ron Rhodes, CPCU – Second Vice President

Ron Rhodes began with Germania in 1981, as a state adjuster and field representative for the Abilene area, became area supervisor for claims in 1986, then promoted to director of property-claims in 1997 and regional director for Underwriting in 2000. Ron was appointed as the assistant vice president of Underwriting in 2002 and was appointed as the second vice president of Germania Insurance Companies in 2003.

Ron is from Cross Plains near Abilene. He graduated in 1970 from Texas A&M with a Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA) degree.

During his career he has been very involved in the insurance industry serving as the past president of the West Texas Claims Association, a member and past president of the Texas Claims Association and a member on the National Independent Adjuster Association Advisory Council for the Western Region. Currently, he is a member of the Underwriting Executive Council, and the National CPCU Society and the Central Texas CPCU Chapter in Austin. Ron is serving on the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies Task Force on National Disasters and as a director of the Texas Association of Mutual Insurance Companies.
